I have only given this one star because I couldn’t go lower unfortunately. I warn you and I repeat, this place is worse than a one armed brick layer in Baghdad. I ordered the chocolate nachos which made me physically ill. Sounded great, however after spending the night vigorously vomiting, I have truly paid the price! You’ll love it if you like greasy, stale and bland pieces of soggy wafer biscuit. My partner ordered the fondue for one. More like fondue for none. There would be more to eat if I melted a single block of Cadbury chocolate, which would taste better anyway; even if it was soaked in bleach. Very disappointing experience, and I haven’t even mentioned how disgusting the tables and windows were. When I first saw the place I was initially deterred by the awful design and staff working their, but thought I would give Imram the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake indeed. The cheap price reflects awful quality of the food. I was tempted to steel the silver spoon served with it for compensation but felt sorry for Imram. I will be saying goodbye to Cioccolato (you FILTHY CUSTARD SLINGERS!) and saying ‘Hello Harry’ as this is the best burger shop in town.
The highlight of our trip to Cioccolato was the staff – all very lovely and helpful. The churros were crunchy and the chocolate sauce nice and thick and rich. Highly recommend the Turkish delight hot chocolate!
This gaudily decorated dessert cafe is heaven for you if you have a sweet tooth. We shared a hot chocolate, cinnamon cronut and a traditional pancake stack. It was all fresh and delicious – the cronut was warm and flaky and the pancakes were light and fluffy. It was extremely good value – we got a free hot chocolate and a discount for paying with cash.
