We have been here a couple of times now and the food is always delicious. Be prepared to wait a while and make sure to make a booking if you are committed to going there. The risotto cakes are so nice, the pasta is also delicious. Local and Italian wines on offer.
After the waitress mixed up the order (unfortunately for the 18 yo birthday girl!) and failed to apologise, was disappointed to find that the incorrect dish was charged to our bill in addition to the replacement meal. Service was disappointing and food was not enjoyed by all. Prices generally expensive. Would not recommend.
2nd bad experience. My partner & I recently had dinner at La Pizzaiola & before this about 18mths ago. On both occasions the wait was long and on our recent visit we waited over an hour for our meals. The meals were seved in no particular order and 2 separate tables were served before us but arrived after us. The pizza was delicious as I believe this is what they do best. My partner ordered a creamy pasta dish. The pasta was swimming in sauce and half way through became sickly. Not an authentic italian pasta in my opinion and I could have made a better dish at home. The menu is too extensive giving the diner a huge variety but the quality isn’t there. They should maybe specialise in their pizzas and have a few well made pasta dishes. It was a disappointing meal and we won’t be eating there again.
Not a bad meal yet!. Absolutely loved it! Wait staff are very kind and willing to have a laugh with everyone! Meals are fantastic! Couldnt have had a better night!
Love the risotto cakes, though only 6 average sized prawns last night. Bit costly for that, though tasted great. Poached pear dessert – delicious.
Terrible. Pasta was uneatable and pizza was worse then store bought
