Has gone down hill!. This WAS my favourite indian in Toowoomba, apparently it has changed hands recently, I was extremely disappointed with my meal and service tonight, I will NOT return ever, the worst customer service I have experienced in a while. I do not recommend punjab curry house in Toowoomba to anybody, save your money and save yourself the disappointed

Loved it! The best Indian food I’ve eaten in toowoomba. I had the rogan josh, raita, garlic naan and rice. I couldn’t fault any of it. The rice was very aromatic – a nice touch. I ordered online which was easy and convenient.

Best Indian in Toowoomba!!! Amazing Vibdaloo and Rogan Josh… And their ‘hot’ means hot! We will be returning frequently!

Consistent. We tried this place again earlier this week. We went in relatively close to the end of lunch time but the lady that greeted us said that we will still be served. And she smiled while she told us that.I went for my tried and tested butter chicken lunch special while my wife was feeling adventurous so she tried the beef vindaloo. As from previous experience, the food did not disappoint us. The service was great and the lunch special was very reasonably priced. This place is a gem that just needs a little more time. Eventually, people in Toowoomba will realize that this is, by far, the best place for Indian food.16 Jan, 2013Friendly atmosphere. We were bored around lunch time one afternoon so we decided to try this place out. Since we were not feeling adventurous that day, we decided to play it safe and ordered the lunch special. I had the butter chicken which was served with basmati rice, naan, raita and was preceded by papadums. My better half had chicken jalfrezi also served with basmati rice, naan, raita. We won’t pretend to know Indian food but we loved our food and we were delighted with the friendly service and atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

Always great food and service. Our first taste of Indian food was here for the lunch special and we are hooked!!! The food is always cooked beautifully, the meat tender and juicy and the naan bread is the best. The staff are courteous and very helpful if you’re new to Indian cuisine. We have tried other Indian establishments and this is hands-down the best in Toowoomba.

Great Find!. With the glut of Indian restaurants in Toowoomba at the moment it has taken me a while to finally get around to trying Punjab Curry House. Whilst all of the other places have served good food with friendly service and at great prices, Punjab to me was a level above the rest. We used to frequent Everest spice, but of recent times has become hit and miss, and I am glad to say that I think Punjab Curry House will become our new regular. My wife had palak paneer, which was a fresh, deliciously smooth curry with generous portions of paneer that had a brillant texture and flavour. I tried the chicken (dhanarsk??) as I wanted to try something new and had never had this before, and the flavour was great, the chicken juicy and tender and both meals were served with rice, naan which was the nicest I have had, pappadams and raita. This was a lunchtime special for just $10.50, which was the best value dining in Toowoomba. To top it off the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive, clearing our plates soon after we had finished our meals, a dying art of service in Toowoomba. I really hope that other lovers of Indian food decide to try Punjab.
