Sofra is hands down the best Turkish restaurant. The food is always amazing and the service is second to none. The waiters are always very attentive. Weve been plenty of times and will continue to go as a family. The belly dancers make for a fab night out!
What a find! was working late at Toowoomba and thought the restaurants in town would have been closed when I stumble across this place.The restaurant was busy but had a nice atmosphere inside. The decor was very much Aladdin cave and the staff were warm and polite. I was hungry so I ordered the mix grill. The food came out promptly and did not disappoint as I wolf it all down before drowning it out with a glass of ayran. Delicious!!!I will be back! 🙂
I found myself in Toowoomba last night and chose Sofra for dinner as it has great reviews. This place was awesome! I completely disagree with the review before mine, everything was so well priced! The lady who greeted us when we walked in gave us such a warm, happy welcome that it set the mood instantly. The staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, we got sharing plates so we could try a bit of everything, Turkish wine was great and the dancers were great entertainment and so friendly, I even got up to have a dance with them! Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant I only got one photo as I was too busy eating!
