Friends in Toowoomba recommended this café for breakfast, so off we went on a recent Sunday morning. Sitting in a recently refurbished building, the café is at the back, with lots of warm northern sunshine flooding the outdoor tables. Service was very prompt and friendly, with cold water and menus coming out very quickly.Hubby had a long black in a mug ($5), while I chose a cappuccino in a cup ($4.50). We both really loved our coffees – strong and flavourful, they really hit the spot. We both chose scrambled eggs ($12) which come with spinach and served on tangy sourdough. Hubby had a side of halloumi ($4), while I went for the added smoked salmon ($5). The eggs were soft and beautifully cooked, and the bread was tangy and delicious. All in all, a fabulous breakfast in a great spot. We’re looking forward to coming here again next time we’re in Toowoomba. Can’t wait to try the brekky burger and brekky carbonara!
