On a scale of 1 – 10 i would give the food a 15! Staff are friendly. A lady named Donna is the BOMB! she gave our 2yo free ice cream and softdrink! Went with my husband and child and had change from a 50! I highly recomend woggies!
I had ribs at Woggies last night. They should call them Bronto Ribs. They remind me of the Flinstone cartoon when Fred orders ribs take away. Finished my meal off with a Chocolate Bowl. again HUGE. ended sharing with 3 other people in my group. Delicious. Great meal, great service, Great nite. well worth visiting.
Cibo not so buono. Woggies asks for some appreciation of Italian food and suggests ‘momma’ may have made stuff like this in the old country. If she did it would be reason enough to migrate!Pizza dough – was that mould? Ribs drowned in sauce. ‘Aussie-Buco’ (yes thats what the nice girl said!) without Gremolata – golly what would Milanese Mumma say about all those onions over two heaps of Semolina. And …yes in Qld it was pumpkin soup again!Toowoomba deserves better and our rich Italian culture is mocked in the name (lovingly) and the menu (carelessly and regrettably).
Just like a Mamma (who couldn’t cook) used to make!. Very little to say about this joint except for rubbish food at expensive prices. If you want to pay $8 or so for a small garlic bread, and craving a pizza but 7 Eleven’s closed, this could be for you.
Relatively good. Had herb bread and vegetarian fettuccini – food was tasty, however I felt as though it was a bit expensive considering what you get. Restaurant was very noisy and quite cold, so going on a week night might be advisable.
That’s not how Mumma made it. There really was nothing authentic about this Italian, unfortunately. Burnt schnitzel and the aracini rice balls were merely flavourless rice. The staff and service were very good, as was the atmosphere – just a shame about the food.
Don’t Bother. We went to Woggies hoping for an authentic delicious Italian family meal. We were greeted pleasantly and seated with prompt drink service. Our orders were taken in a very timely manner. We ordered a garlic bread to share which was pleasant but nothing speacial….that’s were the enjoyment ended. :-(One hour later our mains arrived. Lasagne hot on the outside, cold in the middle, and an unpleasant taste. Caesar Salad had an unidentified unpleasant dressing on it, and processed diced ham. All meals were the worst examples of what each of us had. YUKK!! For such a long wait we expected something at least above average. The restaurant was cold and noisy.Overall a very unpleasant experience. If we weren’t so hungry at the time we would have walked out.Warning to all….just don’t go there.
