This is a nice cafe set in the heart of Edge Hill, Cairns. There was a wide selection of fresh juices available with my favourite being the one containing beetroot and apple. The vienna coffee also was quite an appealing drink.
Refresh. Stopped in this week to get our coffees so I could have a noisy at the decor refreshments – disappointed all the couches are gone! Felt this was a stand out difference to the other cafe’s in Edge Hill, the interior was roomy, air con’d and with couches and magazines which was just perfect for baby to sleep in the pram while I enjoyed my coffee in comfort with plenty of magazines to peruse. Please bring back a couch, magazines and a toy basket!!
Really good food and looks different inside. I have noticed some changes at the cafe 88 in Edge hill. The menu seems new and easier to read. I have had the eggs benedict a few times but I really like the big breakfast for value. I enjoy a good cappuccino and sometimes I just like to have a breakfast smoothie for a change. My friends at work said ther were new owners there so I was curious, and now we are all regulars. Thanks for being that little bit different.

Good food. Have eaten there a few times now….really GOOD food, (love the new menu the new owners have introduced) great coffee, pleasant polite staff. Overall a great experience.
Love the new look 88. I’ve eaten at Cafe 88 for a couple of years now and have to say that the new owners have created a great look at 88 and a much better menu! Simpler to read – better choices, and wicked cakes! 88 has it all over it’s competitors when it comes to value for money and friendly attentive service. Good on you ladies! You’ll certainly retain my return custom!
