Great food – potentially. If you like waiting 20mins for the inept staff to reheat some already made, overpriced toasted sandwiches (which end up arriving burnt) and poorly made coffee from staff that clearly have no barista training – this is the place for you.The staff struggle to stay focused on basic tasks and can often be seen having a good old chat while they forget something was in the toaster , destroying what could have been a great lunch. No real management presence onsite , reflected in the lack of diligence shown by the staff to coordinate the most basic of food services. Was once a great cafe a few years back, but current staff are letting it down. Who’s running the show there ?
Luckily Wray’s Organic Cafe is walking distance, we rush down there and leap into the airconditioned glory. I order the cutest croissant I’ve ever seen and coffee with an extra shot on the advice of Sally, coffee connoisseur and Wray’s regular.
