Disappointed. Ordered the pie with mash and peas. No peas on plate so asked for peas and told no peas and is wanted some vegetables to I replied yes. Did not arrive. I did not pursue as the quality of the food was substandard. My friend had chicken schnitzel and not cut it even with a steak knife. Prices way overpriced. Service was polite. I am guessing the decor remains as it was 20 years ago. Definitely a pub to miss.

I visited this place on a Sunday night, wanting a nice cheap simple dinner. I understandably had low expectations but it didn’t even meet those! The restaurant felt like a complete afterthought, the focus of the place appears to be on the pokie machines, of which there are HEAPS. The man behind the counter seemed fairly disinterested and given up on life and his restaurant. My meal was decidedly below average – the mash potato was like glue. If I’m paying $18 for a meal, which didn’t include any vegetables just a chunk of lamb and potato…. I expect the mashed potato to at least be as nice as I could make! The consistency was terrible and it had a weird shiny plasticy skin on the outside. I would have accepted the dinner for what it was, had the price been say $10. Felt decidedly ripped off. It felt like I was dining in one of those places you see on that Kitchen Nightmares show with Gordon Ramsay.

It is what it is. Do not have high expectations. It’s very economical and food isn’t offensive, but don’t expect too much or you will be disappointed. I can’t vote ‘like nor dislike’ But just be sure u know what you’re in for.
