New to the area and tried this place tonight, ordered Keema Naan – Medium Butter Chicken – Mild Chicken Korma. In short, we will be back. Good Indian meal. Plenty of chicken, tasty sauce and a strange tasting Naan but really good! Will be locked in our phone as our new local Indian. Good work to the owners/chef.
What went wrong 6 months ago food was fine. Not amazing but fine. Tonight was appalling – we have ordered from here before but some time ago. Where do I start – dry samosa with tough pastry dips completely unpalatable, chicken tandoor chicken that hadn’t been near a tandoor oven. Onion Baji was uncooked in the middle. Naan thick tasteless full of sugar and so tough, it to be a day old. I have not ever given a restaurant a review as bad as this. Even if offered a replacement meal I wouldn’t accept it. My husband and I have eaten at numerous Indian takeaway places in our time, and on moving to Ferny Hills I was pleased to see that Indian Appetite had some great reviews ALL of which turned out to be totally justified. Everything is very tasty (who wants bland Indian?), the menu has heaps of variety and the staff are always friendly. As others have said, the goat curry is amazing, but so are a lot of other things! We are definitely happy with this as our local Indian takeaway.
Just finished some takeaway tonight and experienced the best Indian food I have had in a long time! I was expecting the meat quantity to be a little light on after reading some of the reviews, I’m pleased to say it was quite the opposite. Takeaway tub was packed full of lamb and delicious…
Narash is really helpful and caters for the weak Aussie palate but if you want authentic Indian food just ask for traditional hot or (English Hot) and he will oblige without being stupidly hot! Their Naan breads are to die for!! Get a good Indian in ya!!
Outstanding service & consistently great food. We have been dining here for a few years. The food is always great. What prompted us to finally write a review is that tonight we arrived just before closing. We didn’t want to inconvenience anyone so offered to takeaway our meal, however, the owner of the restaurant welcomed us in to dine knowing that this had been our initial intention. He ended up staying open half an hour later just for us. Wonderful customer service and also so nice to hear an employer speak so highly of his staff. Thanks marc and holly
