This is a small coffee shop right on the lake front so you can relax here with your pets on the sunny verandah enjoying your coffee. The coffee is Black Sheep brew & the friendly barista was accommodating in helping me decide on the strength. We opted for the single shot & if not strong enough for me would give me another on the side. The coffee had a delicate, mellow flavor, no bitterness very smooth & I personally enjoyed the extra shot . Loved that beautiful verandah so quiet & tranquil

On the way to sunny coast and needed something for the drive, OFF THE SIMPLE BLISS WE GO!!!Been here on a number of occasions and wont stop coming back.They are a coffee and cake bar only but they completely knock these items out of the ball park.Greeted with a massive smile by Asterid on entrance.Firstly the coffee, impeccable! Not weak or to milky, just right. The cakes, Orange and polenta, caramel slice, coconut and lime friand and lemon curd cupcake oh also a crossiant (which I didn’t get a photo of). The orange and polenta, coconut & lime and lemon curd cupcake crumbled wonderfully and moist all the way through, small but paked with a bucket load of flavour, caramel slice was not sickly sweet like most and just right. Finally, crossiant was soft and flavourful without being flaky (my preference).This experience comes is accompanied by service with a smile and great view overlooking the lake were you can just relax, sip your coffee and watch the world pass by. We will be back Asterid. Highly recommended.
I am in love with the coffee here and Asterid’s amazing sweet treats! Found this amazing little place months ago and I have never been let down on any of our trips there. Asterid and her staff are so friendly – each time we have been there, we are greeted with a smile and the conversation we have is so genuine. It is such a gorgeous little unassuming cafe – all outdoors on the balcony with a front row view of the Lake.The coffee is absolutely amazing. I am incredibly fussy about my coffee and Astrid just nails it every time. Smooth coffee blend mixed with real chocolate! Not powdered chocolate – real flakes of chocolate. Best. Mocha. EVER! I can’t rave enough about the sweet treats but the orange gluten free small cake is amaaaaaaazing! We will be back soon Highly, highly recommend!!
