Tonight was the 4th time that I have dined at the Phenix and would highly recommend it to anybody. I particularly love the Garlic King Prawns, really fresh and full of flavour. Also the staff are friendly, welcoming and make you feel like one of the family. I will definitely become a regular visitor.
We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for lunch yesterday. I would recommend it to anyone who likes chinese food. The service and atmosphere were exceptional – nothing was too much trouble. I hope this restaurant is here to stay.
Rude introduction to the new Phoenix restaurant.Wife and I sat at an outdoor table out of the way this afternoon while the restaurant was completely empty not a single customer insight, I just wanted to finish a quick phone call in a quiet area, my wife mentioned we should grab a menu before we go. Very quickly we were approached by the girl working inside and told we cant sit there. we then moved to the benches by the tree the girl walks past us seeing the displeasure on my face she smirks. If this is indicative of the service there then we have no desire to use it. We love Asian cuisine and we frequent all of the restaurants in the Village area. We will not be returning to Phoenix as paying customers. enjoy you empty table Phoenix.
Had the Mongolian beef. Veggies were hard and not pleasant. Honey chicken was ok. Spring rolls mediocre and dim sums fine. Not ideal and no likey
