Came with a large group last week and was very impressed with the offering in Banoi.I opted for the lunch special of $15 which was 3 crab and prawn spring rolls with Chilli sauce, a half Banh Mi Pork Roll, A mini Pho, and a Viet ice coffee! Bloody great value. I really enjoyed trying a little bit of everything and it didn’t break the bank. The only thing i would have liked more, would have been a bit more meat in the Banh Mi, but i still had an awesome overall experience.Everyone in the group had really positive things to say about the venue, it was Friday, we sat outside, it was sunny and the vibes were good 🙂 Will definitely return

Tried Banoi last week and I was really impressed. Service was great, restaurant is well fit out in a good location and above all, the food was delicious. Im always skeptical of Vietnamese restaurants outside of inala and surrounds however Banoi delivers authenticity and flavor without leaving me thirsty from a huge msg hit. I particularly like the bun bo hue which was so good I inhaled it before I could remember to take a photo. Highly recommend, will be going back for Friday pork crackling banh mi.

Was on the search for a cheap, light, tasty lunch and Banoi provided. Came to Banoi on a Saturday for a late lunch. We sat at a table inside right under the air con vent which was very noisy… I loved the ordering system, you can take your time deciding and make any adjustments to the meals. My group of 3 decided to share the following: crab and prawn spring rolls, steamed wontons, chicken rice paper rolls, soft shell crab rice paper rolls, pork belly taco bun, chicken curry and the pork belly salad bowl. Everything was DELICIOUS the spring rolls were a stand out! We definitely over ordered, I left feeling full and extremely satisfied. The curry was so different and was served over vermicelli noodles which made it similar to a laksa. I need to come back and try their pho because we all know thats the best thing about Vietnamese food. The only tiny negative was some of the ‘hot’ items were slightly cold but we can let that slide. Thanks Banoi! I will be back shortly.

Went here with the parents for weekend lunch; we were particularly intrigued with the various Vietnamese menu items available. We ordered a Iced Vietnamese Coffee (caffeine and condensed milk, what can go wrong?), and Homemade Kumquat Lemonade (subtle, fresh and not-too-sweet) to freshen ourselves. For lunch, we ordered and shared:- Cao Lau: I was personally excited to try this dish, as I am not aware of many restaurants that serve this traditional Hoi An specialty. It was fresh and textural, albeit missed the slight chewiness of the special Hoi An noodles. The sauce was also a little sweet for my liking.- Bun Bo Hue: good balance of spiciness; good portion of protein and noodles.- Pho Dac Biet: nice flavoured broth; also good portion of protein and noodles. The noodle soups also came out with a little accompaniment of fresh herbs, beansprouts and lemon.Friendly and efficient service. Self-written orders. Tap water table service. Reasonable prices. Casual ambience – offers indoor and outdoor seating.Overall, a great Vietnamese option on the ever-popular King Street. I will definitely come back to try other Vietnamese items available, as well as ‘Crispy Pork Fridays’.
