Really enjoyed our lunch here. We were seated in a booth which was quite fun. The whole fried shrimp made a yummy, crunchy starter. The lunchtime $20 steak was beautifully cooked, fries were nicely done – could have done with a little side salad but minor complaint. Bit of pain having to go to the bar every time you want to order something, however it wasnt too busy so didnt mind too much. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great fitout, looks more like a restaurant in Sydney than Brisbane.
We had a really great night here last Thursday. Arrived a bit late for our booking but the wait staff were fine and showed us to our booth. Water and menus arrived and the dry aged meats were explained to us. Ordered a lovely King Valley Prosecco and chose our meals. The fit out here is lovely- tiles and glass were retro and the bar looked so impressive. Our meals were amazing!! I had the vegetarian option- miso eggplant with mushrooms, other meals were lamb with romesco sauce and bbq spatchcock. The sides were also brilliant- cheesy fries with Japanese curry and roast pumpkin with goats cheese, sage and pepitas. The kitchen is open and so clean and well set up. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Will definitely return.
