A nice spot for sushi while shopping at James Street. A bit on the pricey side for average tasting sushi. If you aren’t looking for anything fancy and just wanting a quick bite, this is the right place for you.

Always fresh, value for money. Going there almost weekly, no fuss, great seafood. The fish&chip, Udon noodle soup , sashimi and handroll sushi is great.

I have only tried their take away salmon and avocado roll once. It was prepacked. It looked good but was pretty dry and tasteless. I usually love sushi but struggled a bit to finish it since it was not so great. It was acceptable but I would not get sushi there again and would not recommend this to any friends when there are better places around. Maybe their other fish is fine, I don’t know since I only tried their sushiroll.

A nice spot for sushi, but nothing overly special. The rainbow sushi that I had was made popular choice, a mix of salmon and avocado. The salmon slices were nice and thick, which added to the texture.

Outstanding Japanese seafood made and served by Japanese people who know what they are doing. It’s really just a fancy fish shop, but the little restaurant part really delivers to quality, super fresh and delicious sushi, sashimi and a couple of other Japanese staples.

The best Japanese restaurant in Brisbane. Fresh Fish Co is located in the fortitude valley James street. Not very good dining atmosphere but food is reeeeeally tasty.

Very fresh sushi! Expensive but worth it! Recommend the aburi salmon. Lunch time hard to find a seat, but be patient.
