A hidden bar in fortitude valley that’s known for its burgers as much as it’s known for its drinks. The burger special was oh so good although maybe candied bacon instead of fried?

Unfortunately disappointed after reading great reviews. Ordered the beef burger and got chicken, maybe the guy at the bar misunderstood and that’s ok. Burger was passable but a bit sloppy and rushed together. Chips could only be described as cold. Kitchen wasn’t busy so the cook served up old chips anyway instead of frying some fresh ones up, that is so crap and shows he doesn’t care. On the bright side the atmosphere of the bar is great for a drink but won’t be going there for food again.

If you haven’t been here I really feel sorry for you. Greaser’s burgers are scarily good. Order the cheeseburger and you’ll become addicted, I had absolutely no faults with mine and am dying to go back and get another one. The staff here are really friendly and patient and the atmosphere is perfect for a little get together or a cute date (if you really want to impress someone then bring them here).

Quite a few of us headed for dinner & drinks to celebrate a work colleagues birthday.I had a great time. The venue itself is the definite highlight. It’s a hidden labyrinth, seemingly in a loading dock. I really like the adventure of finding it, & the slight feeling of unease you get when you’re not sure if you’re in the right place. Bar itself is cosy with knowledgeable bar staff , great cocktails… & the amazing ‘pickleback’.. shot of Jameson & shot of pickle brine. My new favourite drink…. & the food was pretty decent as well.I ate a Portobello mushroom burger with chilli fries which I enjoyed. The rest of our group all raved about their food. The Brisbane food scene gets more interesting daily. It’s exciting to participate.

Dark and dingy with classic tunes all add to the atmosphere of Greaser in Fortitude Valley. It’s situated on Brunswick street – straight past Eye Candy Adult bar. If you miss it – I don’t blame you. You have to walk down the alley and follow the hands on the road that point you in the right direction. Even then you still wonder if you’re in the right place, as you pass the chefs in the kitchen behind steel mesh doors before you enter through some clinking fringe curtains. As you enter, your eyes adjust to the dim lighting and loudish music. Looking straight at the bar, there are some small signs for the weekly specials and the biggest drinks shelf I’ve ever seen, absolutely packed with wine, spirits, aperitifs and liqueurs. A classic All American menu consisting of cheeseburgers, buttermilk fried chicken, chicken burger, Mac and cheese burger, loaded hot dogs all by the spot with the star of the night being the fried chicken. So greasy, tasty, deliciously hot and satisfying, I highly recommend the cheat meal. Staff were super friendly and happy to be there, from being greeted by security on the street, to the chefs in the kitchens to the wait and bar staff, I truly felt welcomed. Go here: if you’re fanging some greasy chicken and an ice cold beer to wash it all down with.

Sneaky location, great vibe (dimly lit with underground alleyway feel), and the burgers and fries are not particularly fancy but they do the simple things very well. Beer collection is nice.

Greaser is hidden away in the depths of the Valley, but once you find it, you’ll love it. Well, if you’re into the more darker, grungier, American rock scene. The music is loud, and it’s not the place to take someone on a first date. But the burgers are sensational. Top 3 in Brisbane I’d say. They are classic, no gourmet fanciness. Just good burgers made properly. Chips are also awesome, and the fried chicken (if covered in sauce) is good.
