Quick visit for a late lunch. Shame on me. I didnt realise you served a bucket of water IN my vege tacos. Mmmm. Delish. Soooo gross. I wouldnt trust the glowing reviews either. Theyre either paid reviews or fake.

Good, decent price and very filling. Would recommend and they have a selection of sauces that you can choose and some jalapeos which is a nice touch

Got uber eats and received soggy almost cold chip. The enchilada didn’t have mex chimi mayo in place of cream as requested and the whole thing was full of rice and beans and barely any sauteed vegetables or sauces.

I had a pan seared barramundi burrito bowl ,the seared was burnt and very dry.Shouldn’t trust positive online reviews…will never go back again

  • The Dear Luncher

Sometimes you think with these franchise places that it will always be the same. Not true. As The Dear Luncher ticks off yet another Guzman, its important to note that this has taken the title as the favourite branch. The pulled beef (spicy) salad ordered here was a cut above. Crisp, fresh and generous levels of beef for what was the smaller, entre size. The vinaigrette they use at Guzman is a real winner for the salads. Its pleasing to know you can be on the other side of the country and get consistently good Mexican fare at Guzman. thedearluncher.wordpress.com

Sloppy, soggy tacos atop chewy stringy beef served slightly warm in a bath of oily juice. Staff content leaving filthy tables and floors just the way they are.Now I remember why I’ve not been back for 2 years..

Another great Guzman, but it gets better… (better? surely not!) An even greater thunderstorm that totally rocked the shop! A very spacious store and a very spacious stomach lay in wait, with the big yellow logo providing the sort of much needed light from the black skies and rain that hammered down like a cue for ‘the last meal on earth.’Needing some warming and food loving after not a lot to eat that day, a mini chicken burrito was order of the day, with brown rice and guacamole at extra cost, but its worth it! That little bit of spice goes a long way on nights like this one, also…Please note, however, if you are not that hungry, whatever you do, order the mini burrito, not the big one, or you will need a very big lie down when you get home. If however, you are in ‘horse eating’ mood, its gotta be the full size beast.Another smart move if you are torn between chook and beef is this; if with partner, and you both like a burrito wrap, you come to a ‘share arrangement’ if one of you has one, and one the other, you can simply ‘rip in half’. If its a burrito bowl, just go ‘half and half’ there also, and all is well in the Guzman Y Gomez eating world. Peace, hombre.
