I was here a couple of years ago and had been fairly impressed by it. Back again and its still just as good, the karaage, the duck gyoza, and the Katsu chicken curry. Will be back when Im back in Brissy.
Staff service was fantastic. Reasonable selection of alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their gyoza. We ordered pork gyoza and the pork and prawn gyoza. Both were ridiculously priced for the portion size. They were also soggy and overcooked. If you’re out for drunk oily food, this may be the right place for you. Just don’t expect very much in terms of taste or texture.
Try hard unauthentic eatery. If you like a noisy environment and loads of sugar added to savoury dishes this is the place for you. Slow service. A joke.
I’ve been to all the harajuku places in Brisbane and I think this one is usually the busiest and maybe the best of the bunch. They are all pretty similar though. I feel like the over the top screamy service (which I like) is not as extreme as it was when it first opened.
Not the place to visit if you are expecting a peaceful dinner for two. More like a place to go with friends for a party night! The service is attentive despite being super busy though. The food is fresh & the dumplings very good. I wish I would have ordered the closed dumplings instead of the open vegetarian ones as my partners dumplings were delicious he had the fried pork (I tried the dumpling part only & they had that gorgeous silky texture with a nice crunch from the fry ) Also ordered the salmon bowl which had copious amounts of salmon perfectly cooked on a bed of sticky rice
Love the veggie gyoza and the restaurant it’s self is super cute. Definitely order the Sake. The food is really good and there is often a line.
The best Dumplings I will probably ever have. The service is quite spectacular and the decor is very unique. If you are a drinker there are many interesting options and I am sure that you will not be let down.
