First time to Harveys- its been around quite a while and well known for their amazing breakfasts. Today I met two friends there for lunch. There was an event on so my two friends were running late. The staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I ordered drinks for the three of us while my dining companions searched for a car park. Once at the table we all ordered- pasta and risotto as well as a salad. It was very warm outside so the aircon was welcome as was our proseco. The service was quick and the meals were delicious. Special was linguini with crab and chilli in seafood bisque. The salad was lightly dressed and generously seasoned with cracked pepper and salt. The risotto was amazing- creamy yet not too stodgy- the prawns and corn were a great combination. Will definitely be back- we dealt with about 5 staff members during our meal and all were fabulous esp Ebony.

We were being seated in one of the corners, and we didn’t get to place an order after 15-20 mins. It wasn’t even that busy in the morning.-sauted mushroom and lentils on sourdough: the toast was over toasted and very hard. It’s quite an effort to cut it my knife and biting it down was a challenge. Mushroom and lentils had a very strong curry flavour, which I didn’t mind but some might not like it for breakfast.-potato rosti with creamed corn:The whole plate just didn’t look appealing. and the portion was disappointing and unreasonably small for the price (about 18 dollars)-soy flat whiteit was even frothier than a latte, more towards a cappucino. We didn’t want to be a difficult customer, it’s still a good coffee so we didn’t ask them to change.

Arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed but staff were very helpful. Amazing service! And the chicken pate entree and eye fillet main meals were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend
