The mrs talked this place up and she was not wrong. The food is amazing. Great setting for small-medium groups. Try the pizza and mixed platter. The only downfall is the service

The food at this restaurant wasnt close to the traditional Middle Eastern food that weve eaten in the Middle East or even at other restaurants outside the Middle East or Mediterrenean regions. The Tabbouleh (salad) was more of a tomato salad rather than a good mix of parsley, couscous, and tomato. The lamb with couscous wasnt spiced at all, had very less tomato sauce, and had olives in it!!! Roasted Seven Vegetables consisted of overcooked vegetables which werent spiced adequately either, and tasted more like an Irish stew! Overall quite a rip-off as the price doesnt neither justifies the quality nor the authenticity. We were quite disappointed, and wouldnt recommend this restaurant to friends who know what Middle Eastern food actually tastes like.

We found this restaurant through First Table, and didn’t realize how many of my friends have gone here before! Mecca Bah did not disappoint. We had the hummus and meat platter and it was just packed with flavor. Definitely will come back here!

  • The Other Jenners

Before these Other Jenners met each other and fell blissfully in love, wed both been on dates to this Moroccan hot spot. To this day we still head there for date night (with each other, just to clarify). Mecca Bahs food is great for sharing, particularly their salads (haloumi & raisin), tagines (lamb, of course) and pides/pizzas. Flavours are great and the ambience is lively. Our tip – bookings recommended as this place is always packed!

If i have a choice, it’d give this sad place a zero. What a disappointment! And A restaurant which rips off customers and does no justice to the money they have charged.. We ordered a Mixed Kebab Grill with Garlic Chicken & Tsire Spiced Lamb (Served with Minted Yogurt, Pilaf Rice and Lemon). At least, that is what we had hoped to get!But what we received was a very disappointing serve which looked like leftovers from someone’s plate.A nearly empty box of pilaf rice with barely any pieces of meat. This is very disappointing and is no where close to a good serve worth $34. Anywhere else you’d get a decent portion for this price. We’d like to see if anyone from this restaurant at least cares to explain. Here’s hoping that our sour experiences would save someone else from such a disappointing experience. In short, STAY OFF THIS PLACE!!

Good quality food and not too pricey. We had mainly the tapas and a the pumpkin pizza which was like a pide. I’ll definitely be back again for the dips and bread alone. Also lots of good vegetarian options.

Besides the amazing decor & atmosphere this place provides, unfortunately didnt make up for its food quality. Turkish pides were a bit bland & for where we were & the look this place provided I didnt feel it delivered when it came to food.Price point isnt worth making the trip for an average meal.I would however go back for their cocktails. But thats about it
