My husband and I visited Mr Percivals on a Sunday, the weekend that it opened. There are two areas on the outside – bar service and table service. We chose table service. After a good 5-10 minutes wait, I gave up and went to the bar to order drinks. We had almost finished our drinks when wait staff finally arrived to the people a couple of seats down. They had arrived before us. The only person to approach us was the bus boy, and he asked if we wanted anything, only because we had empty glasses. We decided against food – not only is it expensive, but we didnt get a chance because no one was coming near us. Not good for a place that has just opened. It was also very quiet for a new joint in Brisbane. Meanwhile, the brewery was packed. Same views, same beer. Better prices and better service. Pick up your game, Mr Percivals.
