A nice casual restaurant and bar in the valley far enough from the street noise. It seems to be a popular restaurant. We had vegetarian Raman which was very tasty and perfect for winter. Staff were nice and service was ok.
Had dinner here & was pleasantly surprised by the quick service & food. My sizzling pan salmon stir fried dish was beautifully cooked, the tender pieces of salmon melted in the mouth & they were also generous with the fresh red chillies (on request) also plenty of vegetables. Partner ordered the pork belly, which was also very tender, but fatty. Had a nice rose to compliment my fish
Not sure if this cafe is under the same banner of the NomNom Korean Eatery around the corner inside the Bakery Lane. This new born baby is really under my expectation due to the fact that its exterior design gives me an impression of modern cafe. Walked in this morning and I was shocked of the quiet vibe with only one staff looking after the food & beverage production. Ordered a flat white in a cup and a brekkie of egg box. It was slightly hard to communicate with the Korean lady although my English level is not good either. The coffee came first with a take-away cup and I told her that I have emphasized to have a coffee cup and it then came out in a short glass, which I have not had a flat white like that over 25 years. Having said that coffee was not bad, smooth with good strength. The egg box brekkie really presented in an egg box, which is quite a new invention. Boiled eggs came with egg shell that reminds me the episode that I have the famous boiled egg for breakfast in Malaysia. Given the fact that production is just average, I think there are rooms needed to be improved.
I have been here a few times. The bao is pretty good (the beef is the best). Funnilly enough the Bao at Nom Nom Korean Eatery around the corner is better than Nom Nom Bao. Don’t order the Bubble Tea
