Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. She made our first time visit very easy with her food recommendations. She brought out extra bread on the house to mop up the rest of the sauce from the meatballs. Cocktails were tasty. Busy restaurant but the tables are good distance apart to give customers their own space still. Overall lovely restaurant. Would definitely revisit.

Excellent Dinner at Polpetta! What a lovely evening we spent at this great restaurant. Excellent service and a friendly, warm atmosphere. The rissotto was superb as was the pasta dish my friend ordered. Friendly, helpful service was much appreciated. Pricing was fine too as were the Aperol Spritz drinks. A great night.

Saturday evening two friends and myself (one friend from London) arrived at Polpetta, we booked a table for 3 people at 7.30, the waitress also took our number in case the table was ready earlier. We headed to Felons for some drinks while we waited, when we returned to Polpetta at 7.30, a different waitress let us know our table had in fact not been booked and  there was nothing they could do about it, she advised that they should have called us..but simply didn't. The manner in which we were treated was rude and dismissive, at 7.30 on a Saturday night after waiting for a table there were not many other options available for us to go. We were offered no alternative and simply told they had nothing available. Really disappointing service, especially having a friend from overseas with us. Unfortunately after the service received, won't be trying again.

It was reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Small portions (which is totally beyond me when it’s only pasta, really, how much can it cost to bump up the portion size?) of standard Italian offerings. OK service, 457 visa types. Not particularly impressive but fine for a restaurant in a hotel.
