Great location for some quiet drinks and now boasts Brisbane’s largest selection of Gin. The platters are well thought out and the service is what you’d expect in a bar of this calibre. The Gin’s are incredible with the bar staff so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Definitely a place to go and enjoy with a small group of friends.
Grape Therapy Drinking Den is a purveyor of lovely wines that you can take home or enjoy on-site. They also have an extensive collection of wines that you can enjoy by the glass. This is a great place to enjoy a couple glasses (or a couple bottles) of wine. Food options are limited, but I was quite impressed with the delicious cheese board that was served to me – I absolutely love Manchego and this was wonderful! Some people complain about the $20 corkage fee on any bottle of wine, but this didn’t seem unreasonable to me, especially when you consider the fact that they would make far more selling it by the glass. Even with the corkage fee it is still cheaper than the same bottle of wine at most area restaurants (and they don’t have the selection you get at Grape Therapy). We’ll be back.
Some of the best wines in Brisbane can be found here, awesome and friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere, nice to come and have a chilled drink with the loved ones or just a nice place for a cheeky wine
If you’re looking for a relaxed evening of drinking wine while listening to live jazz, Grape Therapy is the place to be on a Friday night. They’re open Tuesday through Saturday and are available to host events of up to 60 people. Wine is $10 per glass, and if you want a bottle to drink while you’re there, there’s only a $20 corkage fee no matter the cost of the wine. Premium wines are also for sale for take-away. It’s a great spot to be for a few drinks and pre-dinner snacks like cheese and chacuterie, or you can spend a whole night relaxing on comfy couches.
My new favorite spot for a drink.. Excellent selection of wines by the glass. All around $10 a glass. They had a small barrel of port on the bar that was absolutely delicious. A very cool spot. Classy but definitely not pretentious. Also, have some nice wines available for purchase by the bottle (which can be drunk on site for a $20 per bottle corkage.) Was impressed to see some older vintages of wines available at great prices.
What a cool, laid back bar. Great for the discerning over 30’s. Just like the ideal man cave for the wine lover.Chesterfield lounges, wonderful wine collection all on display.Took the bride here and even she was impressed. And she is a very hard marker!
Tucked underneath Ciccio’s Restaurant and with access just around the corner from Adelaide St, this new place just hums. Think old style officers mess fit out – lots of comfy sofas as well as well as dining tables and chairs. Great service – friendly and knowledgable without being wine snobbish. Awesome wine list – their approach is retail plus $20 corkage , and this is on museum stock wine. A great place to spend a lazy afternoon or evening. Highly recommended.
