Living in the area its often you see new places opening up, in saying that, Soapbox by far, has been the most refreshing. Walking in we were greeted by friendly staff and an excellent selection of beers. The staff were very knowledgeable and happy to share their expertise along with a few tasters. As a beer convert (previously and occasionally still a wine drinker), I can honestly say there wasnt a beer on tap I didnt like. Then there was the food, no disappointments here! It was fast, delicious and very well priced for the portions. they have a small function area, decent tables and most definitely dont have the dingy bar smell many of The Valley venues have. Were looking forward to coming back for another few rounds.

But first grab a beer, or a paddle to sample and something off of the extensive tasty menu! We tried the potato croquettes and the chicken wings..both incorporate beer into them! And flavour bombs! The beer is sensational (try the biscuit ale) and the owners and staff make you feel very welcome in their home. The toilets have thought put into them too and arent just sterile receptacles! Go check out Brisbanes newest and trust me you wont be disappointed! Find a Duncan and have a beer with him, become mates and make Soapbox a regular!
