As far as atmosphere and a great pub feed go, this is a ripper!I would recommend a Share Board on a Friday or Saturday with a couple of mates. The band kicks off at 10pm and is a great reason to stick around after a feed for a few drinks. The Elephant provides a really balanced take on a contemporary pub and their new menu has something for most!
Decided to take myself for a counter meal and wasn’t disappointed! I ordered the Parmi and it was pretty damn good – big piece of chicken, loads of cheese, great looking ham slice, chips on the side and a damn fine coleslaw. I’m not a fan of an overwhelming amount of Napoli sauce and the amount serves with this was spot on. Ordered with the house bubbles and you can’t go wrong!One small thing though – if it’s a hot day, DO NOT sit in the corner with the bench seats in the beer-garden. Even though there’s fans they won’t get you and you’ll be sweating up a storm before your meal hits the table
