I’ve only been here at lunch and i always ordered the Cheese burger with Fries. 3 months later my mate tells me i need to try the Chicken burger with fries. Wow probably be the best Chicken burger I’ve tasted. I’ve eaten a lot of chicken burgers in my day but this had to be the most tender and moist chicken burger i’ve tasted not processed like the Macca’s and Hungry’s one. If you’re ever in the valley around lunch time give the Chicken Burger a go.

This review is solely on the 2 for 1 parmy nights on Wednesdays. They are delicious and of course, great value. I particularly like how they use a variety of cheese on the parmy

I’ve been wanting to try The Flying Cock for a while, but haven’t been able to get there. No worries…it was about time for me to pop my UberEATS cherry anyway – what better way than with a delivery of Flying Cock?Sadly, it turns out that The Flying Cock was sold out of my first choice, the Fried Chicken Burger. That’s ok, I’ll go with the Cheesy Beef Burger. Oh wait, that too is sold out, as was the UberEATS Exclusive BBK Burger, the Sweet Potato Vego Burger and the Chocko Box.I was left to choose between the $30 Fried Chicken Box or the Beer Battered Popcorn Chicken. I chose the later and was sorely disappointed. Six bites of chicken that was over cooked and arrived lukewarm (not their fault as the Uber driver got lost). The chicken was served with the house Sweet & Sour Sauce, but the combination only served to accentuate the fact that the chicken was over cooked. The chicken and the sauce had an unpleasant aftertaste, both combined and separate.I will give them another chance when I’m in the Valley at some point, but my initial experience with The Flying Cock (and UberEATS) was very unsatisfactory and I cannot recommend either based on my experience.

Extremely unpleasant experience ordering from this restaurant via ubereats. Made a large order for 6 people, which was first delayed by almost an hour before being cancelled without notice. During that hour we were actively phoning the restaurant. First time there was no pickup, second time a receptionist picked up to forward our call to the pub, where we waited another minute before the call automatically ended. All in all, a horrible experience and completely do not recommend ordering from here.

There’s some decent pub food here, definitely a go-to especially for some good beers. A little heavy on the salt and unfortunately the sweet potato flavour in the gems was lost under the pepper. Nevertheless, experienced great service from the waiter and management and would recommend everyone give it a go. Can’t go wrong with their beef burger and shoe string fries!

Their 2 for 1 Parmys on a Wednesday night will not disappoint. Massive serving and quality is not compromised. Their house Napoli is what truly makes this parmy amazing. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and time in getting the sauce right. Perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. The chicken is always so juicy and cooked just right. Perfect amount of crumb and their slaw is a great accompaniment. The staff are always attentive and the venue allows for a warm atmosphere.
