Came here with a Groupon deal. Initial impression was very good, friendly wait staff and a very nice looking venue that does make you feel you are somewhere a bit fancier. With that in mind, we ordered two cocktails (strawberry mint choc, and pavlova), both were excellent and not overly sweet. For our shared entree we got the venison carpaccio, this was very tasty but the bread sticks don’t go very well with this dish. You have to pick them up to eat them which means you can’t combine them with anything else, and they get very sticky from the sauce. For mains we both got rib eye fillets, and asked for rare. Mine came out as ordered, but partner’s was well done, very dry and chewy. Also the steaks were very thin and not dissimilar to what you’d get for $10 at a pub.Overall a good meal just very disappointed in the steaks.

I visited with a friend last night for dinner. This restaurant although opulent in decor, was really warm and cosy. We were welcomed by Annie and seated at a booth table. Velvet upholstered booth lounge and velvet upholstered and extremely comfortable arm chairs. My friend and i shared an entree of Fragrant Scallops which were served with Cauliflower three ways – Puree (divine!), Pickled (Lucious!) Crispy (texturally delightful). The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. We then shared two mains…..one of Pork Belly and the other Spanner Crap Tortellini. The Pork Belly was succulent and melting; the tortellini one of the best I’ve eaten. I recommend The Palace Supper Club for all the foodies out there. My experience was fabulous.

Well emailed them twice on their website just to send the wine list got zero response, rang and all you ever get is voicemail so left a message for them to email me their wine list, zero response, rang again had to leave another message finally got a call 2 weeks after my first contact with them, a lady called Mandy called and I asked her to please send me the wine list this is my 5th request said she would no email asked again 3 more times zero response! All I wanted was the wine list to see if I was happy with their selection to book a birthday party for 40, pathetic. Anyway went to Customs House which is an amazing venue go there don’t even bother to try this place, very unprofessional

Food was delicious, service outstanding and the vibe was killer. Looks expensive but wasnt. First pour was Belvedere and only $9! Definitely will come back here. Such a great find!
