Came here for lunch with a friend the other day! Its an old school vietnamese venue, that has been around for years !!!It has been many moons since i have been here, so it was time to revisit it as i have been craving Noodles for weeks. Ramen and Pho has been my weakness recently.Lunch special of $10 for a Large bowl of Bun Bo Hue (Spicy vermicelli noodles, with beef and pork) Wow! This is the kind of value and authenticity that i would usually get in Inala. In fact it may be even better.Don’t be fooled by the basic decor…I thoroughly enjoyed this dish, and it is on par with some of the best Vietnamese food you can find in Brisbane, and the price point is just fantastic! This has the potential to be a weekly spot for me to visit, as i left feeling satisfied and full but still quite fresh.Highly recommend!
We went to the restaurant for a family lunch on Sunday. We each ordered a dish and fried rice plus we had two entrees. Positives were the quickness that the dishes were served, large sizes of the meals, attentive service and the reasonable cost. Negatives were that the food tasted very similar to Chinese dishes, bland sauces except for the chilli chicken, fish dish we ordered not available but substituted for a fish stirfry. Two diners took in a milk drink and were informed that they couldn’t drink it in the restaurant. That was a bit rude since we ordered over $160 worth of food! Reasonable cheap casual place to eat but nothing to sing about.
