Set menu well priced at $46 you get a bruschetta starter then a choice of entree, main & dessert. So far the best place I’ve been to for dinner in Gladstone. Quick and friendly service, each course came out quickly after each other which I was very happy about as a solo diner. Photos of the scallops for entree and beef ribs for main. Forgot to take a pic of the panna cotta though – clearly too eager to dig in !!
Ate from the set menu and it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The set menu was very affordable and the quality did not at all appear to suffer. You would struggle to find better. Service and atmosphere were also very good.
Restaurant prices, pub food! Last year the food was restaurant quality. Absolutely divine. We were so impressed we decided to take our family on a special night out. The staff were inexperienced, we had to asked for plates with our entrees, didn’t get all of our entrees, then waited a long time for the remainder which we took in our stride and filled in time and waited. We received our mains, the steak was overlooked, the fish was dry and overlooked. The sauce for one of the dishes wasn’t a sauce – gravy. And while we ate, the waitress carried in the restaurant display board from outside, I felt this to be an insult as we were still eating. And to top it off our plates got taken away as soon as each person took their last mouthful.
