  We weren’t sure about eating here, but wanted a kid friendly Saturday evening venue. In the main it’s like other RSLs, however Ish restaurant in the complex is better than we expected from an RSL. Main plus is the kids zone so you can eat whilst they play, over 3s only. Cheap meal, handy whilst we were passing through.

  Great place for cheap drinks and free entertainment. There are a few cafes inside but best restaurant there is the Clearwater cafe and the best meal is beef nachos!

  Well a trip across the ditch brings us to the sunny climbs of Caloundra, Sunshine Coast. First stop is the Caloundra RSL. Three eating establishments to choose from in the club. We went to the Clearwater Cafe. I had veal wrapped in hickory smoked bacon with veg and a Shiraz jus. Stunning!! The missus had the chicken burger etc and fries. Pretty good were her words. With a couple of drinks and a wine on top it was a bit pricey, but hey I’m on holiday! Taking aside the meal, the Club itself offers numerous dining options as well as live entertainment, sports and gambling options as well as free courtesy buses to pick up and drop off patrons. Pay $6 for an annual membership. That gives discount on the meals and drinks so it pays for itself in one night! Good overall venue.

  The kids club is brilliant. Great for parents who want a bit of shoosho. Courtesy bus is also great ;)Foods a little pricey
