We stopped on here on a Saturday evening without a booking. We were greated with a warm welcome and although I could see a lot of tables reserved they found a table for us. We were well looked after by the attentive and friendly waiter. Such a rare find to get such friendly service. We ordered momos and potato cakes(not sure of name!) as entrees. Both fresh and delicious. Hubs enjoyed a Nepalese beer while we started out mains mine was Kathmandu mushrooms (I went vegetarian) and hubs enjoyed the curry plate. His looked and tasted delicious. He had a beef curry, chickpea curry rice and delicious mix of vegetables in delicious sauce. All served in little bowls so you can mix or eat individually as you wish. Mine was delicious for a random choice! Crispy tempura mushrooms on top of a bowl of vegetables in a delicious sauce. Tempura amazing- so flavoursome! We had Nepalese bread with our meals which was also yummy. We didn’t have room for dessert! Be assured if you want a meal a little different from the usual affairs on offer with lovely service you won’t be disappointed!

I have never had dumplings with curry in them before, it was magic. The chicken curry was just as yummy as the entrée: a spice party in my mouth! My partner ordered the noodles which was also very tasty. Do try it!
Great place for food. Mo mo mo mo- I went there with friends last weekend. The food quality was good, even the entrees. Recommend goat and a very special entree called apple something. The pork belly and dumplings were very nice as well. One of my friend is a food lover, she said there dumplings (MOMO) were beautiful. That’s why we went to gurkhali together. I’m happy to ask my sister to have dinner together in gurkhali the next time. Hats off to the chef
Had a surprisingly great meal.
A disgrace booked 2 weeks in advanced for a 50th wedding anniversary for 14 people. Walked after 90+ waiting for mains, no drink orders taken, 2 waiting staff half full resteraunt. Don’t bother. Good way to wreck a night.
