First time to Boucher French restaurant. It really brought back memories from when I was cooking. The food was great. Classic French cooking and flavours. Great to see a dedicated French style cuisine as many restaurants in Queensland are very fusion which to a point is great but to have a classic French restaurant is awesome !! I had the twice cooked cheese souffl and the duck breast for my main. The house bread served was hot and delicious with house butter and a pre entree nibble was sweet and got my taste buds ready for my meal. I’ll be back. Thanks SARDS.
Took the family to dinner here just after Christmas. The foods was really yummy, ambience was nice as far as footpath dining goes and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We came in a group of 10 people. We were placed at a decent sized table away from the rest of the crowd which was nice. Staff were polite and helpful. Food was delicious and pleased everyone in the group. We had a red wine and a sparkling white which were both tasty also. Overall nice restaurant with good food. However a little noisy for conversation. Possibly because of the way the venue is built. Not sure.
Been a few times with family for special occasions. It is good but you’d expect that off the prices. Cannot remember what I had but it was good. Nothing amazing though
Incredible! This is some of the best food I have had in Brisbane and one of the best dining experiences! The staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable! We had the 3 courses for $70 option and despite being expensive, the quality definitely justified the price! I started with the quail gnocchi which was amazing with gnocchi which melted in your mouth and burnt olive crisps added interestingly to the dish! I had the wagu for a main which I was not offered a choice in how I wanted it cooked though was served perfectly! The jus was flavoursome and the caramelised onion full of flavour! All of our meals were accompanied with complementary fries on the table which were very well seasoned! Finally the creme brle for dessert was also very delicious! The setting is great with a bar and high tables on one end and a very French styled dining area on the other. Could not recommend enough!
Boucher is a little suburban secret on the Graceville strip. Admittedly we went here because Three Girls Skipping was bursting at the seams, who knew Boucher did breakfast/brunch? Not I.B has been bugging me to go here for dinner, so I thought breakfast was a good start. The breakfast/brunch service finished at 11am, we rocked up at 10.50am and asked if it was okay to have breakfast, it was – yay!We ordered coffees first, it was a bit disappointing there was no soy milk, but the waitress said I could get a coffee from Three Girls next door and bring it in. I thought that was very accommodating but looking at the line in Three Girls, I just ended up ordered a regular capp instead. B’s capp was superb, mine was too hot and the espresso was burnt :(B swapped his coffee with me… what a good husband! So I had the perfect coffee and he suffered through the burnt one.For the meals I ordered the roasted mushrooms, haloumi, toast, roasted tomato, smashed avo and vincotto. Each of the individual items was delicious (especially the vincotto), although the smashed avo was more like a guacamole in consistency and taste. They also forgot the mustard cress that was listed on the menu.B ordered the cassoulet which included bacon, sausage, white beans, poached egg in a tomato sauce. This was really tasty but very heavy, it could have been smaller with a side of something fresh.Service was very good, it is a fine dining establishment after all. I was enjoying the restaurant’s decor until I looked up and saw a very disgusting mouldy AC vent, blowing its disgusting mouldy AC on me. There was also a fly and two small flies buzzing around which was a bit annoying, but the restaurant had its large doors open so I don’t think this is really their fault.Looking at the January dinner menu I would like to give this place another try for dinner, and three courses of fine French food at $70pp is pretty amazing.
Wonderful dinner degustation with wine. The servings are small but each dish is exquisite. Excellent, friendly and efficient service. Will definitely be back!!!
