Food was fresh, came out super fast, and not greasy like some chinese can be.The sweet and sour pork was pretty tasty, the honey chicken was good quality. Not a huge fan of the special fried rice, though I did ask for it without seafood, so that may explain why it was a bit bland.Overall, there are better Chinese restaurants in Brisbane, but this holds up pretty strong for Takeaway places in this local area.
Tonight we visited this restaurant and we were really disappointed in the super slow service. True, there was only one waitress… but there were only two tables occupied. The prices were extortionate ($25 for a seafood dish) considering the quality and atmosphere (none). This was an all round disappointing experience.
Terrible. Stuck in the 80’s this menu and recipes need to be updated to move into the 21st Century. I was given an incorrect meal and what I was given was over tenderised meat with copious amounts of onions. Never again.
Very Disappointed. My daughter and I were seeking a good Chinese Restaurant for her birthday next week. We popped into Ming Inn Friday evening (23/05/14) to see if it would be big enough to cater for our gathering. We sat down in the restaurant and decided to try their desserts. We’d never had dessert there before. We ordered a dessert each and a cup of tea. The waitress took our order only to return to tell us the chef decided not to serve us as we aren’t ordering a meal. The waitress was embarrassed and we were disgusted. I think the owner should fire that chef as we went down the road to another Chinese restaurant in Wilston, had an amazing dessert and booked out the restaurant for my daughters 21st. I know who’s getting my business from now on.
Love the Ming Inn!. I am a vegetarian so Chinese is always limited but I can never go past the Ming Inn’s Vegetable Chow Mein (I always ask for more broccoli and they always give it) which is extremely tasty right down to the last bite. Great value for money at $10.50 and it fills me up.
What a romantic evening – the boneless chicken with plum sauce is delightful
We’ve been on the lookout for a good Chinese restaurant and we finally found one! The vegetables were fresh and the flavours fantastic. Highly recommend. We’ll be back:-)
