I ordered takeaway from here around 7:15pm one Friday night recently when we were housesitting for a friend, not knowing what was good nearby. At around 8:45pm our food still had not show up so I called them and asked for an idea on how much longer we would have to wait and I was told the food was on the way. At around 9:30pm I got a knock at the door from an apologetic delivery driver. The food wasn’t cold, so they’d obviously forgotten about our order. The noodles I got were so greasy and the spring rolls and dim sims tasted as though they came from the freezer section at Coles. We were given a complimentary lemon chicken as a sorry. I would never order lemon chicken, personally I don’t really like it but we decided to give it a try (it was free, why not?!) It was awful. It was a slab of chicken in thick, floury batter (it actually looked like a piece of fish from a fish and chip shop) with a side of overly sweet lemon sauce. Let’s just say that I’ve never been more annoyed that I wasted money on something so crap. Disgusting. I would rate a negative score if I could. Stay far away.
Not a fan. I ordered the Laksan, flavour was nowhere to be found. Delivery was on time but driver struggledfind the hotel I was at. I didn’t read reviews before ordering but I’m one to give anything a go once. It will only be once for Chop Chop. Oh and tomato sauce with spring rolls… not cool.
I was not a fan of Chop Chop. The fried rice and beef and black bean were okay. I didn’t enjoy the spring rolls or the BBQ style sauce they came with. I also didn’t enjoy the pork in plum sauce as the sauce had a raw taste to it. I wouldn’t order Chop Chop again- sorry. Service was pleasant…
Fast delivery,thats about it though. ordered spring rolls and they came with tomato sauce all over them!! Some of the vegetables tasted off in the BBQ Pork Noodle dish.Wont be calling them again.
I tried Chop Chop before looking at past reviews and have to say that our experience has been the exact opposite of the negative review and comments! I had the food delivered. The delivery driver was extremely nice and pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. I could not fault anything. It was so nice that I mentioned it to other people and we had Chop Chop two nights later. A different driver and they were just as pleasant! The food was delicious again! Not expensive and plenty of left overs. A must to try!
It’s not the Japanese restaurant!!! Rice was too bad!!I couldn’t finish my meal. I will never ever come back again. Please do not try this restaurant
