Gave this location a try as I knew they would be doing it tough with the KSD works right at their front door and I’m so glad I didAmbiance aside , the owners and staff here are welcoming and extremely eager to please , on the downside the decor is a bit humdrum and you have to get up and place your order at the reception counter ???? And water was served at room temperature in paper cups On the upside the food was spectacular , I had the roghan josh and my partner the butter chicken and we shared the rice and roti ( huge portion) The food was fresh and very tasty and you could feel it was made with love Will def be back and eager to try some more traditional dishes on the menu
We had noticed this restaurant months ago & were excited to be trying one Saturday night. We love Indian street food, but this was a bit of a let down really. Although the food was not at all bad it failed to deliver the street food experience we were looking so forward to. Our curries looked & tasted almost identical, no chunky vegetables in the spinach puree as I was expecting. My partner had a meat curry & sauce tasted the same as mine. Starter was served in a soft bun, another surprise which I have never had in India. The filling of potatoes in the bun was tasty though
