Ordered a takeaway coffee and a coffee in a glass – both to sit down. The takeaway took long enough as it was, and then three other people were served (both takeaway and sit down orders) that arrived after us before the glass coffee finally arrived. Tasted like dirty water and a bit of milk. Poured half a cup of cinnamon on top of each one and made it worse (yes, it was possible) than we could’ve imagined. Would never go back.
Me and my partner made the 30 minute trip out to Hamilton to try with little cafe, and the avocoado on toast was delicious, perfect portion size. Staff on the day werent super upbeat but thats the only thing that I would say could make the experience better
I had the Dippy Eggs which enjoyed thoroughly and would recommend them with sauteed mushrooms. Eggs were served in an egg carton which was cute.My flat white was nice and strong. However a sugar sachet was not provided yet a spoon was, which defeated the purpose. Outside tables did not have any sweetners/sugar sachets. The Turmeric & Lemon Protein Pancakes were a let down as I felt the chia seeds/coconut yoghurt didn’t complement the pancakes due to its soggy texture. In terms of service, it needs improvement.1. Our table had a leftover plate from a previous customer which was promptly taken away however around that plate and other areas of the table, there were water marks from previous drinks. The staff simply wiped directly under the plate, leaving the other water marks so when we placed the (big) menus on the table, they got wet (as expected).2. After the staff provided all our food, they didn’t confirm with us if we were waiting on anything else, nor remove the table number. If they had, we would have realised that our pancakes were missing (which to be fair, was an error on my friends part who ‘thought’ he ordered it) and wouldn’t have continuously waited for nothing. Pancakes were ordered after this realisation and came out promptly.3. A staff member put my friends cutlery directly on the table. As we were seated outside and table not wiped, this was kind of gross. I understand it is very busy however more care should be taken. Thankfully my own cutlery was placed on top of a napkin by a different staff member.
Poor service that is also painfully slow. 1 waitress to wait over 12 tables. And today is a busy Sunday morning, prime time for breakfast and brunch!Unfortunately, my experience here was beyond disappointing.. leaving me to want a refund for the experience, but oh well! We live, we learn and I won’t be returning.Apart from missing ingredients in my breakfast, which mind you, had no customisations, and the watered down coffees, the lack of atmosphere in this cafe was painful. This visit was not worth the drive, or worth the excitement.Pretty pics just for the insta.
Its clear they are always under staffed and that the staff get flustered every time someone walks in. Only been here 3 times and the service has been pretty average every time. Its a shame cause their food is good but the vibe and staff are off putting. They also use campos coffee which is a specialty coffee roastery, and the coffee was less than average.
Good coffee , vegan nachos and atmosphere. We stayed over night around the area and woke up hungry. We dont live around Brisbane so found this place on the bottom of our hotel. Fresh food , plenty of options , good juices and desserts too. Healthy and tasty.
Reviewing on a takeaway coffee with no judgement of food. The coffee itself was quite good but a 15min wait on a Sunday morning with only 3 tables occupied at the venue… Wont be back
