Sorry no photos for this one.We came for lunch because of the good reviews and also we were super hungry at 1.30pm and needed to eat. That may have been our downfall. Maybe this is more of a breakfast cafe with an all day breakfast menu and minimal other optionsIt was a stinking hot Saturday and a sign advertising it has air conditioning. If you were sitting under the air con you would have felt the cool, but it certainly wasn’t coping the day we came.The lunch menu was incredibly small and I didn’t feel like ordering off the all day breakfast menu. I found the menu hard to follow and hubby got a different menu to me. So with all that it appeared to be one sandwich option and 2 salad options for lunch.I chose the chicken and Kale salad with honey mustard dressing and hubby had The Bungalow Club Sandwich.The food was very tasty, but pricey for what we got. Ok, it is Hawthorn, but still $19 for a sandwich?Would I come back…..no. Cakes, croissants sitting out open on the counter with no covering.It has a quaint quirky feel and I’m sure the locals love it, but I’ll pass.
