Overpriced, go next door.$45 for a paella that was very unremarkable…tiny potions, tapas is supposed to be to share, however after ordering just about everything on the menu we were still left hungry.

Lovely food and great service. Have enjoyed both lunch and breakfast at this location. Nice, quaint area in Brisbane to relax and have a sangria!!

We tapped out on tapas. Pork shoulder, croquetas, scallops, calamari, stuffed olives & crispy potatoes. Sadly none were memorable, nothing stood out & it was all bland as a saltless diet. Meh.Our saccharine-loving friend enjoyed the red sangria, but the sweetness level was butt-puckering in the real world. Anticipating trouble when our handsome waiter’s default expression was blank, we carefully pointed to each item we ordered and confirmed them as they were read back. One tapas dish went astray; and that’s fine, it was quickly sorted out. Then after a decent wait, we were served a grilled whole chicken instead of the pollo paella we’d discussed in some detail. Given the additional wait time to now START a paella, we declined & left with grumbling tummies. There’s 2 ‘Rs’ in sorry dude & it wouldn’t have hurt to say it. We’re reasonable people & an apology might have meant we’d give Ole a second chance. As it is, this lunch was an $80 mistake we won’t make again. You say ole, I say adios.

Really glad Ole opened a new store near our place. The service was great and we had the dry aged beef as recommended by the waiter. It was definitely delicious, would recommend if you are a meat lover

  • Foodie In Hawthorne

It was overall a good experience. I like that you can visit Ole on the cheap or expensive. The tapas are a generous size and just a few will fill you up on a good budget. This place is great being dog friendly because you can take you dog for a walk then grab a wine. They also offer take home so if you don’t get through the meal they pop in it a takeaway container. We visited on the first week so the staff were still learning. The waiter forgot our wine however since we waited for a while we got them on the house.

What a disgraceful place. The food was burnt and the service was disgusting. Being a Bulimba local this place wont last 3 months. If you want to have a good night out go somewhere else
