I ordered the gingerbread waffles and a malteaser shake. The shake choices reminded me of Miss Jones. Shake was served and looked exactly like the one at Miss Jones. Turns out it’s the same owners 😀 somehow liked the shake at Miss Jones better though. The waffles were served cold and kind of soggy. Cinnamon was a nice touch, but the temperatures didn’t do it for me. Ice cream was plain.
While the food was good, the experience wasn’t. This place has hard floors so the noise level is uncomfortable as is the seating. It was difficult to converse with all the kitchen clattering and others conversations. If you prefer a chair with back support, options are limited. Not everyone likes stools and bench seats. Meals are not value for money.
A vibrant and popular cafe in this much loved family area! AVO w poached eggs (optional) sounds pretty standard but at Sister it is oh so good! Made with love, abundance and creativity! Delicious!
