We were impressed with the decor & atmosphere of this hotel, unfortunately not so much the food.The menu looked great, with a good variety of very reasonably priced starters, salads, pizzas, pastas & usual pub meals.Most in our large group enjoyed their meals, but the fettuccine boscaioli we ordered was inedible – overcooked pasta bound with a sauce like gluggy glue. Unfortunately no staff member approached our table after our meals arrived or I would have sent it back. Luckily the portion sizes were large so I shared another guest’s pasta dish instead.Not sure I’d go back to try something else, but others enjoyed their meals & it was a cheap night out.
