Good is always really great, not a single complaint in the world. Dont think i have ever once seen the girl at the service counter get even close to a smile tho. Doesnt take much effort to at least be pleasant to talk to. I feel like her apparent depression is contagious every time i visit and she actually brings me down. Lucky the food is so good or indefinitely wouldnt have ever gone back…
Best Chips. I went there today, chips as good as ever & gravy the same (I don’t love their gravy). They told me it is under new ownership (they had a number of floral arrangements & I asked what was the occasion & it was to celebrate the new ownership) but today they had the same staff I always see on front counter & cooking. Only tried their chicken burger once 5 months ago & didn’t like it, also had their nuggets a few months back and they tasted like standard supermarket crumbed nuggets, not good. No card service today, they said getting a new EFTPOS machine next week, wait was the usual time (lunchtime) Best chips though!
Had metro tonight when friends over It seems they changed ownership The new chef isn’t that good i went there late wait more than 15mins to get my food I used buy from them very often the lady knows me quite well The flavours always right there you could not ask for more However tonight I had burger with cold bun and not really tender fillet which is bad experience I never had in metro I won’t be back
Went to chicken shop last nite at late 7:00 no card service and food service terrible it’s not the origin owner there Anyone can tell me what’s going on with my fantasy local chicken shop
I love Metro Chicken!! Their chicken is tasty and their chips are AMAZING!! The owners are lovely and work so hard!!
The chips are AMAZING!! So yummy & fresh every time! The chicken fillet burgers are nice although the fillet can be a tad but dry. The chips keep bringing us back
Addictive. Easily the best hot chips in Brisbane.
