Best Thai food on the Gold Coast. I met the owner out riding motorbikes, and when I came in he remembered who I was, greeted my wife and I warmly. My wife and I will be coming back for sure.
My friends spoke very high of this place. They had visited on many occasions in the past. On our recent visit from Victoria, our friends we were very excited to take us out to HOS Thai restaurant. Asking for a small portion of ice cream for a 5 year old was a turning point of our evening. Service staff had no or very little grasp on English language, as a result had to call the server on few occasions to check on our order. Instead of being receptive to our requirements , service staff seemed annoyed with our repeated requests. The bbq duck had a rancid smell. As the evening did not progress so well, and did not want to embarrass our hosts, did not bother to bring this to the service staffs attention. We paid up n left. This should be taken as constructive criticism. With little fine tuning the service standards, this could be a ripper of an establishment. As is , do not recommend. There are plenty others.

Great food, great location, super polite staff and management. Best Thai Restaurant on the Northern Gold Coast. Prices are reasonable both for meals, as well as drinks. Fantastic!
