  I am not sure what has happened to the food at this restaurant. Warnings should be provided prior to ordering –  nearly had an extreme heart attack from overly oily samosa and was at a total loss to find any chicken in the Butter chicken or Korma. My wife and I did enjoy the pappadams and naan, however, at a price of nearly $70 food needs to be at least enjoyable and edible.  I would query there neon sign at the front suggesting ‘Best Indian on the Gold Coast’. Maybe they were once.

  Never until now have i ever been made to feel worthless when dining out – I feel as though i just payed the wait staff $90 to treat me with hostility, rudeness and NOT with any hospitality. Upon taking our order, the waitress refused to answer a very simple question about the meals and instead ‘picked’ something for us instead without asking. We (3 people) waited over an hour for average food despite being 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant, and we were provided with no updates on our food order. When 2 items of food arrived she plonked the food on the table and continued to walk off without any eye contact or the courtesy to tell us what we even received, so we were left looking at each other awkwardly tying to figure out what was in front of us. I could go on but this below average food could never compensate for the these disrespectful and inattentive staff. I would highly recommend never to purchase from this restaurant.

  Best in Hope Island. We’ve tried two other Indian Restuarants in Hope Island since moving here this year and were disappointed in both. Tonight we tried Randhawa’s and it was excellent. Great service over the phone and when picking up – lovely friendly lady – even right on closing. The food was hot, very fresh and delicious. I can’t fault anything and we ordered a wide range of items. My fussy husband agreed it was very nice. We’ll be back!

  Disappointing Service (Especially on Mother’s Day 2015). The service at this restaurant is very poor and disappointing. We experienced this on mother’s day (2015). Our drinks which merely involved the task of opening the bottles and delivering to the table took approx. 1 hr. Five families with children were welcomed by the staff at 6PM and we only received our food at approximately at 8.15PM, a delay of 2 hrs.15 mins. This was after a few of us on the table went to the front desk and complained at 8PM. The staff did not return to the table with the decency to inform us that food / chef is delayed in providing our meal. The waiters did not respond to buzzers on the table. The special day became very ordinary and no mood was of disappointment and anger. Management & owners did not even call with courtesy to apologize. Obviously, they do not value their repeat customers.

  Worst service. Stifling hot. Air con was either broke or non existent. Plastic curtains kept the heat in and the breezes out. Buffet was half empty and only one dish replenished in the hour that we were there. We asked for water due to the heat and we received a half carafe between 5 adults. Less than half a glass. We tried to order drinks but gave up after 15 minutes of buzzing the call switch. The meals were over salty and oily. Do not make the mistake of going here
