Feeling peckish while shopping at Inala Plaza, I walk the short distance to Minh Tan. Noted as one of the best Banh Mi Thit (BMT) outlets in Brisbane, I ask for a traditional Pork Banh Mi ($5) and it is ready in under a minute. Counter staff are stingy with the sliced pork providing only 1 thin slice of pork. Most outlets provide at least 2 Pork slices. They also forget to warm my BMT under the grill so I have to eat it cold! Scotts Road Deli provides a generous serving of sliced pork and the rolls are warmed under the grill. My verdict, an ordinary BMT and my rating for this meal drops from a previous 5 to 3.5!
