I had lunch at Tan Thanh yesterday, the place is smallish and tables are close together. I ordered spring rolls and also the crispy skin chicken with rice. The spring rolls were a little overcooked but the crispy skin chicken was reasonably nice.
Time for an update and we walk in at lunchtime today. This is the most popular restaurant in Inala Plaza. We place our lunch order and before long our lunch is served. * Duck Salad & Mung Bean Noodle Soup ($13) is a signature dish and my favourite soup noodle here. I like the hot tasty broth with bamboo shoots, the sweet poached duck and chewy noodles. Rating: 4.5* Combination Beef Pho ($11) is a popular soup noodle here. The hot beef broth is tasty, served with silky smooth pho noodles and a decent amount of meat and offal. Rating: 4.0* 3 Colour Dessert ($4.60) is disappointing today. Yum! We dined here for lunch and ordered the classic pho noodle soup and combination pork chop. The broth of the pho was delicious and full of flavour. The combination pork chop was also very fresh and tasty. The place gets very busy yet service was prompt.
