Invited to go and watch the Horn vs Mundine fight, so went to their local. From the outside looks like your regular club, and went you go through the doors, get signed in, still just your regular club. Dining area, gaming and sports bar. XcIt was busy, being Friday night and end of month draws. We got a table, and looked at menus. Steak it was, and pricing was decent, sub $30.Ordering, is run of your mill, order at counter and pay. Staff were friendly, took our order of eye fillet, and rib fillet, both chips and salad. Extra sauces are $1.90 and so usually they give you enough for both steak and chips. After about 20min wait as it was a busy dinner service, put meals arrived. The eye fillet was not your regular 1 piece at 200g, rather it was 2 pieces, 2 thin pieces which didn’t resemble an eye fillet. Considering we were paying a decent price. My rib fillet was a nice size and looked medium, with a small servicing of chips, and a side of salad. When I cut into the steak, it wasnt like the red lion steak which just melted, this one was a little tougher to cut, but was cooked to medium. The others at our table all had t bones and they enjoyed theirs, I was a little disappointed with mine. I did manage to steal some ribs off a friends plate. They were a nice balance to my steak, sweet American style sauce, when I ran out of my pepper sauce.Had good company with this meal and they do have specials through out the week, so if in the area will drop by again.
