We come here for soup noodles today. We place our order, pay and issued a receipt with an order number. A ten minute wait and our number is called out. Collecting our lunch tray, I see both meals are nicely presented. *Combination Beef Pho ($17.90) looks beautiful and appetising. Tasting the steaming hot beef broth, I am disappointed by the lack of spices and beef flavour. This broth is quite bland. There is a generous serve of Pho noodles, sliced meats, tripe and beef tendon. Unfortunately, this beautiful Beef Pho is let down by the broth. Rating: 3.5*Combination Curry Laksa ($18.50) is also served steaming hot with a large serve of Hokkien noodle, tofu strips, seafood and vegetables. Again, the broth is disappointing, lacking flavour, spices and coconut cream. Rating: 3.5With any soup noodle meal, a quality broth is most important. These broths are below par when compared to Vietnamese restaurants in Darra, Inala and South Brisbane. The chef seriously needs to improve on his broth recipes.With… Phuong Tran
