Had dinner at this Indonesian restaurant at Indooroopilly last night. We had very impressive lunch at its sibling at Coopers Plain over a year ago so we were very excited to try this one out. Arrived on time of booking at 6:30pm and found it was not that busy. Ordered an entre of Otak Otak Goreng (fish cake), which made us very disappointed because the fish cakes were very chewy. However, the mains were different story, where the Nasi Goreng with Beef rib was tasteful with shredded beef ribs and dried enough rices. Sop Buntut (Ox Tail Soup) was not as rich as the one that we had somewhere else in Brisbane but we still liked their version. Hero of the nightwas the Ikan Lele (Grillled Catfish). It was a surprising dish, particularly the chilli shrimp paste was a perfect with the fish, well done, thumb-up. In addition, the dessert of Sago Pudding at the endset theperfect full-stop for the night.
Great food, friendly staff! More indo than most restaurants claiming to be Indonesian and are more Malay-Chinese.. Definitely worth going back.
