With a long history the Hotel Hinchinbrook has been a landmark of Ingham Queensland since 1925, leaving behind many a tale and a colourful past. She has written many chapters in her time including boarding rooms, accommodation for weary travellers - featuring rooms named after local tourist spots, complete with taxadermied locally caught fish. And even a legendary Night Club! Ask any of the locals about the wild nights spent upstairs and the huge boat suspended from the ceiling which still hangs proudly to this day. More recently the old girl was taken over by Brett Watson and Stuart Cocking, who have been running the establishment since 2012. The boys have given this beauty a facelift in recent years while maintaining her original charm and character. The Brook as she is affectionately known, is a regular watering hole for locals of all ages in Ingham, as well as a popular tourist spot, a place to cool off and relax, grab a bite and a cold beverage before continuing on.
